Newcastle United has extended its partnership with online casino and sportsbook FUN88 after agreeing a new long-term commercial agreement.

The agreement sees FUN88 continue to be featured on the front of its players’ shirts and training wear. Newcastle first began its partnership with FUN88 in 2017, with the Premier League club hoping that its new agreement continues to develop its global fanbase.

Lee Charnley, Newcastle United’s managing director, commented: “We are delighted FUN88 has renewed its relationship with Newcastle United and committed its support to the club over a number of years to come.

“Building on the success of our partnership to date, we look forward to this next phase and working together to engage fans and grow our collective reach around the globe.”

The online sportsbook will continue to be a prominent figure across Newcastle’s social media channel throughout the partnership, and whilst not confirmed, the two entities are likely to continue collaborating on initiatives such as giveaways and competitions.

A FUN88 spokesperson added: “FUN88 is delighted to continue its association with Newcastle United Football Club. Together with the club, we live the dream of expanding our fan base across all continents, especially in Asia.

“FUN88 is optimistic that this partnership will assist us in becoming the leading gaming and entertainment platform in countries across the world.”

Newcastle United currently sit 13th in the Premier League table having secured two wins, two draws and three losses since the competition resumed its operations. The club’s final  two games see Newcastle travel to Brighton and Hove Albion before concluding the season at home to champions Liverpool.
