Southampton names as new front-of-shirt sponsor

Southampton Football Club has announced that will be the club’s front-of-shirt sponsor for the 2020/21 campaign.

As a result of the partnership,’s logo will be featured on the first team and Under-23 shirts. The one-year deal also sees Southampton name the cryptocurrency-based sports betting platform as its main club partner. signed as Southampton’s new front-of-shirt sponsor in short notice following LD Sports’ exit. According to a report in the Daily Mail, LD Sports’ decision to walk away from the contract is influenced by political tensions between the UK and China as well as COVID-19 concerns.

The club has confirmed that plans are being put in place to provide the ‘best possible solution’ for fans who have already previously bought its 2020/21 kit with the LD Sports logo. Moreover, the club has temporarily halted all sales of home, away and third kits while the club updates its shirts for the upcoming season.
