AC Milan and Betsson have formed an agreement which sees the online gambling company become the club’s official regional partner for LatAm.

The 2021/22 Serie A Champions have pledged to raise awareness about the Betsson brand in the region.

The move is in line with the operator’s growth strategy as over the past couple of years it has been solidifying a presence in several markets, such as Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Mexico, and Perù.

AC Milan Chief Revenue Officer, Casper Stylsvig, said: “Joining hands with Betsson helps us move closer to our local fan base of over 75 million people.

“Latin America is a very special market for AC Milan and one where we truly feel the passion for the Rossoneri colours, so we could not be more excited to kick off this partnership.”

Furthermore, Betsson will get exclusivity of AC Milan IP usage within the category in LatAm, brand visibility on the stadium’s perimeter LEDs and on the club’s website and app.

In addition, the partnership includes the creation of a ‘rich editorial calendar’ which consists of exclusive content designed to engage Latin American fans in a bid to make them feel closer to the team.

“The exclusive partnership with AC Milan in Latam strengthens our expansion drive in the region and allows us to broaden our content offering and collaborate with an innovation-oriented club,” added Andrea Rossi, Commercial Director for South America at Betsson Group.

“Our shared goal is to offer a more modern and engaging storytelling of sports, creating high-quality entertainment for the Rossoneri fans in South America.”
