Pac-12 Conference renews sports safeguarding deal with US Integrity

The Pac-12 Conference, one of the largest collegiate sports organisations in the US, has renewed its partnership with US Integrity (USI).

Continuing a collaboration in place since 2018, USI will continue to provide integrity monitoring services to the PAC-12 using its proprietary dashboard.

USI conducts analysis of multiple data sets in order to identify irregular partners across wagering, as well as contest-level activity and officiating.

Maggy Carlyle, Pac-12 General Counsel, said: “We are excited to renew our partnership with US Integrity, as we look to continue to ensure the integrity of our athletic programs and competitions.

“US Integrity’s commitment to maintaining integrity, as well as their proactive approach, will continue to play a pivotal role in assisting our operations with monitoring sports betting across our competitions.”

Pac-12’s extension of its arrangement with USI comes as regulated sports betting rolls out across the US, with over 30 states allowing it, of which more than half allow online wagering.

College sports are hugely popular in the US – the country’s 10 largest stadiums are National College Athletic Association (NCAA) stadiums, with the largest being the Michigan Wolverines’ 107,601 seat Michigan Stadium.

As such, there is growing demand for betting on college sports, enhancing the desire for organisations such as the PAC-12, which organises NCAA sports in the Western US, to better safeguard sporting integrity.

Matthew Holt, USI’s CEO and Co-Founder, added: “US Integrity is proud to continue our partnership with the Pac-12 Conference and assist with maintaining the integrity of college athletics.

“US Integrity’s mission is to provide conflict-free, best-in-class insights & compliance solutions to our clients. We are looking forward to continuing to work with the exceptional team at the Pac-12. All our partners are committed to the highest integrity standards, and they are no exception.

“These types of partnerships help ensure sports betting integrity and strengthen the unique & proprietary anomaly-detection tools we have developed at US Integrity.”

US Integrity has partnered with several betting and casino operators this year, such as TonyBet, Betr Partners and BetSky Box, as well as sports leagues such as the Indoor Football League (IFL) and educational institutions such as the University of Pennsylvania.
