The Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake has announced a new sponsorship deal ahead of the 2023 Formula one season in reinsurance firm Corinthian Re

Along with its affiliate companies, Corinthian Re specialises in the distribution of third-party capital to companies in the insurance and reinsurance space.

On its website, the company states that it’s mainly focusing on setting an “alignment of interests between all stakeholders to ensure symmetric profit taking and high frequency, low severity risks that are loss capped and predictable over time”.

Alessandro Alunni Bravi, Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake Representative and Managing Director of team owner Sauber Group, said: “We are delighted to have Corinthian Re onboard with Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake, as we prepare for a record-breaking 2023 Formula One season.

“Our partnership is based on the common grounds of a constant effort for efficiency, as well as dedication to bring the newest innovations to life through the vast experiences in our respective fields. It is a pleasure to give Corinthian Re our warmest welcome, and to bring them on track with us during this season’s race weekends.”

Part of the partnership entails that the Corinthian Re brand will be placed on Alfa Romeo’s F1 flagship car, the C43, together with the helmets of drivers Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.

Cameron Collins, Director of Business Development at Corinthian Re, added: “Corinthian Re is proud to partner with Alfa Romeo F1 Team Stake, as we look to broaden our presence in the European, Asian, and Australian markets.

“Teaming up with iconic motorsport brands like Sauber and Alfa Romeo will expand Corinthian’s global presence and facilitate growth opportunities unique to the Formula 1 world.”
