Jonjo O’Neill JR has linked with Betfred to become a brand ambassador until the 2024 Grand National.

The 25-year-old is a former Conditional Jockey Championship winner, who will now be aiming for success at the 2023 Cheltenham Festival, officially starting tomorrow.

He is also the son of two-time Gold Cup-winning jockey and Grand National-winning trainer, Jonjo O’Neill.

Head of Betfred, Fred Done, stated: “I’m delighted we will be working with Jonjo O’Neill JR., and what a great way to start next week at Cheltenham.”

Moreover, the bookmaker has also said that Racing TV presenter Frankie Foster – who has been working with Betfred since the 2022 Cheltenham Festival – will continue to present for the company until 2024 in the role of social media ambassador. This role sees him as a host of the brand’s digital programming.

“We’re delighted to have Frankie as our ambassador on our social channels,” added Betfred’s Head of Brand, Jade Daniels. “He brings a fresh perspective to Betfred, and working with him has been a joy. We’re excited to see what he has in store for us this year.

On joining Betfred, Frankie added: “I’m thrilled to continue my partnership with Betfred. Last year we went from Royal Ascot to a Super League Grand Final, to me throwing nine darts at the World Champs!

“As a leading bookmaker across the sports that I love, I couldn’t be happier to work with Betfred moving forwards, and I’m excited for the year of sporting action and sports betting with them!”
