Peru’s all-time record goalscorer Paolo Guerrero has become the exclusive global casino ambassador for betting operator Betsson.
The global partnership aims to further strengthen Betsson’s presence across Latin America through Guerrero’s popularity, having played for South American clubs such as Corinthians, Flamengo, Internacional and Racing Club.
Guerrero commented: “I’m very excited to work hand in hand with Betsson, which is not only a leading company in Peru but is successfully expanding throughout Latin America.”
The former Bayern Munich striker will promote Betsson’s online casino offerings across Latin America markets as the company continues to expand across the region.
Its expansion efforts across the region was recognised last November, winning Casino Operator of the Year at the 2023 SBC Awards Latinoamerica in Miami for the second consecutive year.
Furthermore, the online betting operator has recently become the new main sponsor of three of Latin America’s most notable football clubs: Boca Juniors and Racing Club in Argentina, and Atlético Nacional in Colombia.
