Arsenal’s Declan Rice is the face of Panini’s official England sticker collection campaign ahead of EURO 2024.
With the international tournament set to kick off in just under two weeks time, the campaign will see Rice encourage England fans to get “Dec’d out this summer” to go hunting for Panini Adrenalyn XL trading cards for EURO 2024.
To kickstart the campaign, Panini have covered the London taxi in stickers from the Official England Sticker Collection Tournament Edition 2024. The taxi stopped off in New Malden last week to pick up Rice as its first passenger of the summer.
“The taxi is so iconic in London so it’s amazing to see this Panini England version driving around my hometown with my sticker on the side,” said Rice.
“To see support like this at home when we are at major tournaments means a lot to us. Knowing what winning means to the fans drives us on and adds to our desire to go all the way.
“I know how much football fans love Panini stickers. Collecting the England team stickers is a great way for the fans to stay connected to us whilst we’re away and hopefully plenty of fans will find a Rice sticker.”
As part of the campaign, England fans will also be able to earn the chance to ride in the same taxi as Rice until the end of the tournament. Taxi drivers will also be able to hand out free packets of Panini stickers and trading cards to passengers.
The ‘Get Dec’d out’ campaign will also see a number of exclusive giveaways on the Panini social channels, including signed merchandise, exclusive Panini England Dec(k) chairs and a range of free products.
Katie Gritt, Head of Marketing for Sport at Panini, added: “The Official England collections are such a great way for fans to get behind the England team, packed with player stats and facts for football fans and collectors to enjoy.
“As we head into an exciting summer of football, we wanted to do something really fun that puts the fans front and centre of our campaign. The Panini England taxi is something for everyone to enjoy back home whilst showing their support for the England team this summer.”
