La Liga has confirmed a new partnership with online food delivery service Uber Eats that will see fans rewarded with exclusive benefits.
The agreement will last until the end of the 2026/27 season with fans able to gain exclusive benefits, experiences and official La Liga merchandise as part of the deal.
Jorge de la Vega, Chief Executive of LaLiga, commented: “The alliance with Uber Eats is a natural partnership for us, the gastronomy-football combination is and will be one of the keys to this sport in Spain.
“We are happy about the arrival of Uber Eats and we trust in breaking barriers together with them in the coming seasons.”
Over the next three years, Uber Eats will gain a presence across all 20 teams in the Spanish top-flight league, across additional platforms on digital channels, social media and signage in-stadium.
Also tapping into its online delivery service, Uber Eats will award fans of La Liga with home deliveries from a wide array of restaurants and supermarkets with the ‘Giveaway of the Matchday’ initiative.
The campaign will award deliveries for the best goals and assists on match days, with fans also able to vote on the best attendance on the day to gain entry for the chance to win exclusive prizes.
Ricardo Pabón, Marketing Director of Uber Eats, Spain, Portugal, said: “Through this agreement with LaLiga, we want to go further and offer our users access to new football-related experiences and the best selection of restaurants and supermarkets through our platform.”
