AC Milan has announced a new partnership with Cincoro Tequila which will see the alcohol brand made available at the San Siro stadium.
The exclusive collaboration is part of Cincoro’s Italian expansion, partnering with the Serie A club to create new fan experiences by adding luxury to AC Milan events and offering its drinks in hospitality accommodation.
Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan, commented: “We are incredibly excited to welcome Cincoro Tequila to AC Milan. This partnership is a testament to our commitment to aligning with brands that embody the same spirit of excellence and luxury that defines AC Milan.
“This collaboration will undoubtedly elevate our brand’s prestige on a global scale, connecting the elegance of Milanese culture with the sophisticated allure of Cincoro.”
Cincoro’s foundation was born out of sports also. The tequila company was founded by four legends of the NBA; Michael Jordan, Los Angeles Lakers owner Jeanie Buss, Milwaukee Bucks co-owner Wes Edens, Boston Celtics majority owner Wyc Grousbeck and his wife Emilia Fazzalari.
Fazzalari, Cincoro Tequila Co-Founder & Executive Chairperson, added: “Launching Cincoro Tequila in Italy has long been a goal of ours and we’re thrilled to finally bring Cincoro to premium spirits aficionados in Italy.
“This extraordinary partnership allows us to introduce Cincoro’s rich and delicious taste to discerning Italian consumers and international travellers alike.”
The partnership with Cincoro falls in line with a range of efforts being made at AC Milan to celebrate its 125th anniversary this season.
The seven-time European Cup winners announced a range of experiences and events to commemorate the anniversary, such as the launch of a new fan club shop, as well as a special limited edition kit made to be worn during its fixture against Genoa in December.
