Juventus is placing an increased emphasis on sustainability with the addition of Enel as its new official energy partner.

In a bid to bring football and the world of energy together, Enel will appear on LED and big screens across the Allianz Stadium on Serie A and Coppa Italia match days.

Furthermore, Enel will provide its range of energy services from its group portfolio to Juventus to help with its products and services tailored for fans of the club.

Nicolò Mardegan, Head of External Relations at Enel, said: “It is incredibly satisfying to become the official energy partner of one of the most important and winningest teams in Italy, with whom we share strong synergies in the name of sustainability.

“Juventus and Enel are winning examples of organisations Made in Italy that create value. This is thanks to the passion of millions of fans and the constant commitment of our Group, which generates and brings cleaner energy to the whole of Italy every day through intelligent, modern networks and essential infrastructures that guarantee the country’s energy security and independence.”

The 36-time Serie A champions are now under new commercial guidance after agreeing a partnership agreement with sports marketing agency Two Circles last April.

The deal intends to create new sponsorship opportunities and revenue streams for the club, as well as enhancing its digital presence on all social media platforms.

Francesco Calvo, Juventus Managing Director of Revenue & Institutional Relations, commented: “We are very pleased to announce this partnership, which links us to a great Italian company that operates globally, like us.

“This is a common bond between our two organisations, driving us to face the challenges that await us. We are fully convinced that Enel is the ideal partner to help the club pursue the lofty goals it has set for itself in terms of sustainability, which garners our attention on a daily basis.”
