Belgium football team Club Brugge KV has partnered with analytics company Shikenso Analytics for its UEFA Champions League (UCL) campaign.

As per the agreement, Shikenso Analytics will measure sponsorship exposure for the club’s UCL fixtures, having benefited from the company’s services in its domestic competition due to Shikenso’s deal with the Belgian Pro League.

Shikenso will provide real-time evaluation of sponsorship performance, aiming to provide insights that are timely and based on superior data quality.

Tarik Amhamdi, Co-CEO and Co-Founder at Shikenso Analytics, said: “Partnering with an internationally renowned football club like Club Brugge is a thrilling opportunity for us.

“We’re proud that Club Brugge has recognised our capabilities and has chosen us as their sponsorship data provider for their journey in the UEFA Champions League. It’s incredible to see our solution at work at the highest level of European football, and we are committed to delivering unparalleled data excellence.”

Club Brugge feels that its successful past and long history positions it in a great place to attract sponsorship opportunities. The club has won numerous Belgian First Division A titles, Belgian Cups, Belgian Super Cups and is also the current champion of the Belgian Pro League, as well as the county’s representative in the UCL.

Thereby linking this history with data-driven decisions, the club aims to enhance its sponsorship operations and foster stronger partnerships.

Stijn Vermoere, Commercial Director at Club Brugge, added: “We are living in a fast-moving world of data and technology. Also in strategy and sports sponsorships. Club Brugge wants to give its partners all the info about their partnership that they deserve.

“The innovative platform of Shikenso Analytics provides our partners with the tools and numbers to have a quick, but firmly data-driven evaluation of our partnership. If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together. And we want to go very far.”
