Serie A’s AC Milan has announced a new strategic collaboration with technology company Dyson to tap into new capabilities off the San Siro pitch.

Both parties were drawn to one another’s “relentless pursuit of excellence” and will work on collaborating on cutting-edge technological solutions to enhance its players and fans’ experiences watching AC Milan.

Maikel Oettle, Chief Commercial Officer of AC Milan, stated: “We are thrilled to announce this collaboration between AC Milan and Dyson, a brand that shares our commitment to excellence and performance.

“Dyson is not just a symbol of cutting-edge technology but also represents a constant commitment to quality and innovation, values that perfectly align with our philosophy. Together, we aim to push beyond the limits of what we can achieve on and off the pitch.”

As part of the partnership, Dyson will debut its first-ever headphone range, the Dyson OnTrac with AC Milan. The noise cancelling headphones aim to provide a high-level sensory experience for those on-and-off the pitch.

Jake Dyson, Chief Engineer at Dyson, added: “Dyson has bold ambitions to disrupt the audio industry – as demonstrated by the Dyson OnTrac headphones, unveiled this summer. These headphones deliver exceptional sound quality through a high-performance design, underpinned by decades of aero-acoustics research.

“And with advanced noise cancellation, they help you stay focused – even amid the roar of the San Siro on match day. To celebrate this launch, we are proud to collaborate with AC Milan. The Club embodies the same passion, precision and dedication to performance that drives Dyson. We are thrilled to collaborate with such an iconic team.”

This year has been an active one for AC Milan, signing a range of sponsorship partnerships as the club is about to celebrate its 125th anniversary this December.

As part of owner’s Red Bird Capital’s strategic plan to enhance the club’s visibility across the US, as well as becoming culturally relevant with partnerships such as Off-White, the New York Yankees, and Puma, AC Milan is aiming to maintain its standing as one of Europe’s elite football teams.

At the start of the year, Insider Sport spoke to AC Milan Chief Marketing Officer, Tania Moreno, revealing what marketing efforts have gone into celebrating the club’s anniversary this year and how the club is looking to become one of the US’ favourite European clubs.
