French Top 14 rugby union club Stade Toulousain has partnered with OlyBet in a multi-channel arrangement.

OlyBet, which is headquartered in Estonia but active across a number of countries, will engage in media, matchday and fanbase activation initiatives with the club.

The deal will maximise OlyBet’s exposure in the French betting market, a highly competitive one which is dominated by the state-owned Française des Jeux (FDJ) and other established companies like Betclic.

Stade Toulousain is one of France’s biggest rugby union sides, having won the Top 14 championship 23 times and the European Rugby Champions Cup eight times.

Didier Lacroix, President of Stade Toulousain, said: “Stade Toulousain is honoured to enter into a partnership of excellence with a world-renowned brand such as OlyBet.

“We welcome this news with great enthusiasm and are convinced that this collaboration will contribute to our development and international visibility as well as to an ever richer content proposal for our fans through the world.”

The arrangement is indicative of OlyBet’s efforts in France, which as noted above is a competitive betting market but also one with extensive opportunities for sports marketing and engagement.

OlyBet’s previous endeavours in France include its deal with the DP World Tour, which was expanded last year to include an official partnership with the Open de France.

France is not its only market nor its only marketing focus, however, with the firm also engaged in more wide ranging agreements such as with EuroLeague Basketball.

“Stade Toulousain represents the best of professional rugby and we are thrilled to partner with the club and its fanbase,” said Corey Plummer, Chairman and CEO of OlyBet Group.

“OlyBet lives for elevating the access, excitement and forever moments of sports and entertainment. This partnership will deliver on all of these ambitions.”
