LeoVegas has backed the Responsible Gambling Week by replacing the LeoVegas logo on the Leicester Tigers shorts for this weekend’s Premiership match against London Irish with the Responsible Gambling banner.
Responsible Gambling Week runs from 7-13 November and is a cross-industry initiative to promote safer gambling in the UK and Ireland. It has been formed with the motive of creating a dialogue with customers, staff, gambling operators and the wider public about gambling responsibly, it also aims to build education around the help that’s available.
Alongside replacing the LeoVegas logo, the brand will also auction off a handful of shorts signed by the Leicester Tigers players.
The proceeds will be donated to the Gordon Moody Association – a unique and residential treatment programme for addicted gamblers and LeoVegas Group partner.
The aim of the replacement campaign, said LeoVegas, is to “continue the discussion throughout our workforce but also our customers about how to gambling responsibly, the tools available and support that can be utilised for those who experience harm”.
A spokesperson from Leicester Tigers said: “LeoVegas are a great partner and we share the same goal of creating a safe and entertaining environment for our supporters and customers so when Leo approached us to promote their work during Responsible Gambling Week we were very pleased to get involved.”
