Rangers FC has partnered with Socomec which will have its branding featured as the men’s first team back of shirt sponsor for the upcoming 2022/23 season.

The top-flight team looks to help develop the electrical equipment, engineering and manufacturing group’s brand presence across the UK.

Rangers’ Commercial and Marketing Director, James Bisgrove, commented: “We’re thrilled to welcome Socomec onboard as official partner ahead of the upcoming 22/23 campaign.”

“Socomec is a leading international organisation with over 100 years of rich heritage in manufacturing and developing electrical technologies worldwide.

In recent years, the team has developed what it expressed was an ‘excellent relationship’ with Socomec’s UK partner, MACD Electrical, which will remain as a ‘valued’ hospitality and corporate client at the club.

Group Commercial Sales Director at Socomec, Philippe Romieu, added: “Socomec is a family-owned company and we pride ourselves on our values and culture ensuring sustainable growth through independence and long-term vision.

“As we celebrate our centenary year, we are excited to be entering this partnership with Rangers Football Club as back of shirt sponsor for the men’s first team and we look forward to supporting the team this season.”

Supporters purchasing 22/23 adult replica kits will be able to add the Socomec logo to their shirt, replicating the men’s first team. An alternative Rangers Charity Foundation logo option will also be available to supporters, recognising Castore’s donation of Rangers merchandise to the Rangers Charity Foundation.
