Pogon Szczecin has signed a sponsorship deal with Betcris Poland which sees the online betting firm become the Polish football club’s key partner.

The Ekstraklasa team’s two-year agreement, announced at the new stadium in Szczecin, gives Betcris further brand recognition in the region.

“Welcome to our club’s family! I believe that together we will achieve great success,”  Jaroslaw Mroczek, CEO of Pogon Szczecin. “That’s great that our negotiation process led us to the positive point, and today I can proudly introduce Betcris as our new official bookmaker.”

The top-flight team, also known as the Dockers, gain Betcris as a partner at a significant time as the upcoming 2022/2023 season will be the 75th anniversary of the club foundation.

Jacek Jakubowski, Board Member of Betcris Poland, added: “Becoming a key partner of Pogon Szczecin makes us a sponsorship debutant in Polish Ekstraklasa. We are glad that Betcris Poland successfully gained a partner with a strong brand and fantastic fan base. 

“It is a massive step for us, which we planned carefully, and now we can openly present it as another great chapter for us.”

The pair have also promised to bring Pogon Szczecin fans many dedicated offers, beneficial welcome bonuses and ‘intense’ marketing communication within the digital and on-event area.

In recent months, the firm made further moves with Polish sports teams by partnering with handball team Lomza VIVE Kielce and volleyball team Asseco Resovia Rzeszow.Representatives of Betcris Poland and the clubs signed the contract and symbolically handed a team T-shirt, with Betcris logo on the sleeve, to Board Member Jacek Jakubowski.
