Serie A’s Inter Milan are on the cusp of signing Betsson as its front-of-shirt sponsor for next season according to reports.

According to FCInter1908.it, Inter has now reached an agreement with the Swedish betting giant – with the fan site detailing that the agreement is expected to earn €30m, plus bonuses per season, for the next five years.

Paramount+ has been the main shirt sponsor of the Serie A side since the final two matches of last season, but the deal with the American streaming service is set to expire at the end of the season.

The company has been heavily investing in the Italian region recently, whilst also looking to establish Betsson Sport – a new platform with Roma legend Francesco Totti as a brand ambassador.

However, the report revealed that the operator’s full branding won’t appear on Inter’s jersey due to an Italian law preventing clubs from displaying the names of betting companies.

Instead, the source expects the name of the company’s flagship Italian igaming property StarCasinò.Sport to appear on the kit for next season.

Last July, the Scudetto champions announced the extension of its apparel deal with Nike as it remains one of football’s longest running global partnerships.
