Serie A champions Inter Milan have struck a new sponsorship deal with cryptocurrency exchange Gate.io

The agreement will see Gate.io become the new shirt sleeve sponsor of Inter Milan, significantly enhancing its visibility across Italy and growing its brand to football fans across the country.

The Gate.io logo will appear on the sleeves of Inter’s men’s and women’s shirts, along with the club’s under-20 teams.

Alessandro Antonello, CEO of Inter Milan, said: “We are delighted to welcome Gate.io as our new Sleeve Partner for our prestigious jersey.

“Thanks to this new agreement, Gate.io – which has over ten years’ experience in the sector and shares our innovative spirit – will gain extensive visibility in all the competitions that we will participate in.”

Both parties will also place a heavy emphasis on enhancing the fan experience and providing “innovative services and engagements to the club’s global fanbase”, which has amassed over 500 million followers worldwide on its digital platforms.

Throughout the collaboration, fans will be able to access a range of exclusive content, joint-marketing activations, co-branded merchandise, and unique opportunities both on and off the pitch.

Gate.io cites its early foundational work in the crypto sector as a parallel to Inter’s long-standing position as one of Italy’s most popular and successful football clubs.

The crypto exchange offers trading services with 100% user-verifiable Proof of Reserves and the platform has consistently ranked as one of the top 10 cryptocurrency exchanges based on liquidity and trading volume on CoinGecko.

Dr. Han Lin, Founder and CEO of Gate.io, added: “We are thrilled to partner with Inter, a club with a rich history and a passionate fan base. This partnership aligns with our commitment to innovation and community engagement.

“We are excited to bring new and exciting experiences to Inter fans around the world and to explore the many synergies between the worlds of football and digital assets.”
