MLB’s New York Mets has announced a multi-year sponsorship extension with Delta Airlines which will see the commercial airline become the title sponsor of the ballclub’s SKY360 lounge.

Retitled as the ‘DeltaSKY360’ lounge, the airline and the MLB club have “completely reimagined” the space inside Citi Field ahead of the 2024 season, aiming to bring a best-in-class hospitality experience for fans and guests.

Mets President of Business Operations, M. Scott Havens, said: “We’re excited to continue our longstanding partnership with Delta Air Lines and to elevate the Delta SKY360 Club to a state-of-the-art space and luxury experience for our fans at Citi Field.

“The Mets continue to focus on being a best-in-class organisation, and the new Delta SKY360 Club is another testament to those efforts.”

Whilst the multi-year deal also entails that Delta remains as the official airline partner of the New York Mets, the DeltaSky360 lounge aims to provide a ‘unique ballpark experience’ for exclusive members.

The space will feature an expanded 7,000-plus square foot climate-controlled club, three-times larger than the previous space, with a private 50-foot bar and premium booth and lounge seating throughout the club.

The Delta SKY360 Club also features an elevated all-inclusive culinary experience including a chef’s studio, NY signature sushi station, freshly caught seafood, designated dessert station and ballpark favourites, as well as complimentary beer, wine and spirits.

With just over 400 seats, the premium membership to Delta SKY360 Club will include assigned luxury cushioned stadium seating outside the club with in-seat food delivery service, VIP parking and a newly renovated VIP entrance.

Additionally, there will be a boutique retail store with exclusive merchandise adjacent to the club.

Delta Chief Marketing Officer, Alicia Tillman, commented: “We are thrilled to build on our relationship with the New York Mets and bring another premium space to Citi Field.

“Whether in the stands or in the skies, we are continuing to expand our premium experiences and are proud to bring our Delta SKY360 Club to Mets fans and baseball enthusiasts from near and far this season to experience the best our partnership has to offer.”
