RSC Anderlecht has strengthened its partnership with Napoleon Sports and Casino, one of the biggest betting and gaming operators in Belgium.

The company has been partnered with the Belgian Pro League club since 2022, with the main caveat of the deal being a sleeve sponsorship, included into the arrangement in 2023.

Napoleon will now have a ‘more prominent place’ on the front of the team shirts for the ’24-’25 season. From 2025, the brand will then become visible on the back of the purple shirts, with the deal in place until 2027.

Kenneth Bornauw, CEO Non-Sports RSC Anderlecht, said: “We are delighted that one of our existing partners has chosen to further strengthen their commitment to the club.

“This is a recognition of our great partnership and illustrates the impact our brand and channels have in realising the commercial objectives of our partners.”

An added focus of Anderlecht’s renewal with Napoleon revolves around developing the in-stadia experience for fans. The deal further extends Anderlecht’s ties to the betting and gaming sector, with Napoleon not the only firm it does business with.

As well as Napoleon, Anderlecht also maintains an agreement with the Belgian National Lottery, Nationale Loterij, which is the club’s stadium naming rights holder.

“As a Belgian company, we are particularly proud of our involvement in Belgian football,” remarked Philippe Joos, General Manager Napoleon Sports and Casino.

“We look back with satisfaction on the first year of partnership with RSC Anderlecht and look forward to further cooperation that focuses on responsible sports experience.

“RSCA and Napoleon not only cherish the passionate love for entertainment, excitement and unforgettable moments, but also the ambition to be the biggest, with an eye for local roots.”
