FIFA is continuing to make commercial preparations for this year’s edition of the Club World Cup, the first to take place under a new, expanded format.

The global football governing body has partnered with BEYOND Hospitality, naming the company its official hospitality provider for the 2025 Club World Cup.

Beyond Hospitality will offer ticket-inclusive fan experience packages for the tournament, which is scheduled to take place between 14 June-13 July across 12 venues in the US.

FIFA Secretary General, Mattias Grafström, said: “With the FIFA Club World Cup due to set new standards for club football worldwide, we’re delighted to have secured the services of an experienced and innovative industry expert in the shape of BEYOND Hospitality, which will offer cutting-edge hospitality services for fans from across the world, thereby further enhancing the appeal of this unique competition.

“This agreement is an important milestone in FIFA’s quest to maximise the fan experience in what promises to be an outstanding competition that will rewrite club football history. The FIFA Club World Cup will be the pinnacle of the global club game on and off the pitch.”

The company will coordinate the ticketing and hospitality process for FIFA, which has created multiple product tiers and bundled packages for the tournament. The packages are set to go on sale this month.

FIFA is looking to maximise the visibility of the Club World Cup due to its ambitions to significantly expand the tournament’s reach this year by widening its scope. The tournament has, for the most part, consisted of just six teams each year.

This year’s tournament will see 32 teams compete – 12 teams from Europe, six from South America, four from Asia, four from Africa, four from North, Central America and Caribbean, 1 from Oceania, and one from the host country, the US.

Ahead of the tournament, FIFA has been stepping up its commercial efforts, including bringing long-standing partners AB InBev and Hisense as sponsors. It has also signed media deals, such as with DAZN.

Jaime Byrom, Executive Chairman of BEYOND Hospitality, said: “Clubs are at the very heart of football. The inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup will be a pivotal moment in the evolution of the club game, tapping into that passionate fandom and offering teams from every confederation a prestigious stage on which to showcase their talent.

“We’re excited to welcome guests to experience this at some of the world’s best stadiums and hospitality facilities. BEYOND will offer a range of excellent options for the elevated tournament experience that our customers deserve. We’re proud to be entrusted with the opportunity to contribute to the launch of this exciting chapter in world football and look forward to welcoming guests to a fittingly grand hospitality programme.”
