CBS Sports has secured exclusive US English-language rights to all Concacaf women’s competitions on Paramount+, covering 250+ matches through the 2029–30 season
CBS Sports will serve as the exclusive English-language rights holder for all Concacaf women’s football competitions in the US through the 2029–30 season, in a deal which guarantees more than 250 matches across club and national team football on Paramount+.
The agreement covers four separate competitions and marks an expansion of the broadcaster’s existing relationship with the Confederation of North, Central America and Caribbean Association Football.
Coverage begins on 27 February, with the Concacaf W Championship Qualifiers streaming live on Paramount+, and select matches also airing on CBS Sports Network and CBS Sports Golazo Network.
Paramount+ deal comes amid revamped structure
The timing of the deal coincides with a wider restructuring of women’s football within the Concacaf region.
Since 2024, the confederation has operated three centralised senior national team competitions alongside an annual elite club tournament, which is a format designed to give more member associations regular competitive fixtures at the highest level.
The most immediate of these is the Concacaf W Championship, which serves as the primary qualifying pathway for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2027 and the 2028 Summer Olympics.
Six group winners from the qualifying rounds – played across late 2025 and early 2026 – will advance to an eight-team championship scheduled for November and December 2026, where they will be joined by the United States and Canada as the region’s two highest-ranked nations.
The club competition, the Concacaf W Champions Cup, runs annually through the 2029-30 season and carries its own global implications.
The tournament determines qualification for the FIFA Women’s Champions Cup in 2027 and 2029, as well as the inaugural FIFA Women’s Club World Cup in 2028 – a competition that will give the region’s top club sides a platform against the best teams from other confederations for the first time.
Looking further down the road
Beyond the immediate calendar, the deal also locks in coverage of two competitions which will shape the latter half of the decade.

The Concacaf W Nations League will make its debut in 2028, introducing a group stage structure in February and April, followed by a finals stage in November, a format intended to replace the traditional standalone friendly as the primary mechanism for competitive national team football outside of qualifying windows.
The Concacaf W Gold Cup follows in the summer of 2029.
First held in 2024, the tournament is the confederation’s flagship national team competition outside of World Cup qualifying, crowning a regional champion among women’s senior sides. The 2029 edition will be only the second time the competition has been staged.
Highlights, editorial coverage and social content across all four competitions will be distributed through CBS Sports Golazo Network, CBS Sports Network, CBSSports.com, the CBS Sports app, and the @WGolazo social media channels. Studio coverage details are to be confirmed ahead of each competition.
“We are thrilled to extend our partnership with CBS Sports, which will continue to serve as the English-language home of Concacaf Women’s Football in the United States,” said Concacaf General Secretary Philippe Moggio.
“With the launch of a revamped Concacaf W ecosystem in 2024 – now featuring three major centralised senior national team competitions as well as an annual elite club tournament – our Member Associations and their teams have unprecedented opportunities to compete at the highest level, while their fans can closely follow and enjoy every step of the journey,” concluded Moggio.
