Crypto betting platform Stake.com has become the official betting partner of kickboxing world champion Tenshin Nasukawa’s boxing debut on April 8.

Nasukawa stepped down from the kickboxing ring in 2022 with an unprecedented 40-0 record to focus on his boxing skills having already faced GOAT status boxer Floyd Mayweather in an entertainment event back in 2018.

In his upcoming fight Nasukawa takes on bantamweight Japanese champion Yuki Yonaha who is currently ranked fourth in Japan’s listings.

Both fighters will go glove-to-glove at Tokyo’s Ariake Arena with a total capacity of 15,000, which has already hosted various concerts and sporting events such as the 2020 Olympics and Paralympics.

Other Japanese high-profile boxing events that Stake.com has invested in include last year’s World Middleweight unification title shot between Gennady Golovkin and Ryōta Murata, the following rematch between Naoya Inoue and Nonito Donaire, and the November event for the Light Flyweight title between Kenshiro Teraji and Hiroto Kyoguchi.

Akhil Sarin, Director of Acquisition for Stake.com, said: “We’re delighted to continue to support the biggest events in boxing across the globe and are very excited to become the official betting partner for Tenshin Nasukawa’s official debut.

“The southpaw is one of the biggest stars in Japan and everyone at Stake.com is excited to watch his progress in the world of boxing as he builds towards future world championship opportunities.”

During the fight, Stake.com branding will be visible on Nasukawa’s gloves, in high-visible locations throughout the stadium, as well as on the ring itself.

The event will be streamed on Amazon Prime and contains a punch-packing card, including the Unified WBC, WBA, and WBO World Light Flyweight Championship title fight between Kenshiro Teraji and Anthony Olascuaga, and the Welterweight title bout between Keita Obara and Jin Sasaki..

Stake.com’s latest venture compliments a growing portfolio of sports partnerships, with the crypto betting and gaming operator having previously signed exclusive deals with Formula One’s Alfa Romeo Team Stake and Premier League side Everton.
