European basketball league, the EuroLeague, has announced the extension of its partnership with betting and casino operator OlyBet

The partnership renewal also means that OlyBet has become the new Premium Partner for both the EuroLeague and the KKT EuroCup until the end of the 2024-25 season.

OlyBet branding will be showcased across EuroLeague and EuroCup games throughout the extension period, receiving a “prominent position” on courts across Europe, such as Lithuania, Spain, Estonia and Latvia.

Paulius Montiejunas, CEO of the EuroLeague, stated: “We are excited to strengthen our ties with OlyBet Group, a dynamic and forward-thinking partner that shares out passion for European basketball.

“I’ve witnessed the incredible impact of OlyBet Group’s involvement in European basketball firsthand. This extended partnership promises an exciting future for fans and the sport alike.”

In order to maximise the partnership, the EuroLeague and OlyBet will work in tandem on a number of activities focused on the digital ecosystem and the fan experience.

Through these initiatives, EuroLeague and EuroCup fans will be able to enhance their engagement in the games throughout the season.

“We are driven by a shared vision of elevating the sports entertainment experience for fans,” shared Corey Plummer, CEO of OlyBet Group.

“This partnership with EuroLeague Basketball marks a significant milestone in our journey, and we are committed to delivering thrilling sports moments.

“Together with EuroLeague Basketball, we are excited to set new standards for engagement and entertainment in European basketball.”

The sport in Europe has undergone major focus and attention from basketball fans across the globe, particularly in the US with NBA fans.

Some of the NBA’s best players in the league today, such as Nikola Jokić and Luka Dončić, played in the EuroLeague before being drafted into the NBA, making the league a viable home for players to hone their skills before making the transition to the NBA, or leaving the US league for more opportunities.
