Extreme E has named Jackson Swiss Partners, a boutique firm specialising in foreign exchange risk management, its exclusive foreign exchange supplier

As part of the agreement, Jackson Swiss Partners will leverage its lean, debt-free and profitable business model to provide bespoke FX hedging solutions to Extreme E. The electric off-road racing series has selected the firm because of its commitment to client protection and financial prudence.

Ali Russell, Managing Director of Extreme E, said: “We are thrilled to welcome Jackson Swiss Partners as an official global supplier for Extreme E. Their expertise and dedication to client success perfectly complement our mission to drive positive change through sport.

“Jackson Swiss Partners are widely regarded as an agile organisation and attentive to detail, and we look forward to collaborating as we continue to grow our international racing series.”

Extreme E has stated that the boutique firm ‘thrives’ on a deep understanding of each client’s goals and competitive environment, aligning with its own operations.

Additionally, Extreme E has noted that a driving force in choosing Jackson Swiss partners was the firm’s distinction in providing tailored FX hedging solutions resembling insurance policies rather than conventional trading strategies.

Adam Wright, Founder and CEO at Jackson Swiss Partners, commented: “As a financial services business, we are always trying to be different and always trying to do the right thing.

“In an industry where greed is commonplace and transparency is not; we exist to counteract that! We are finding that by behaving as good, honest, and decent people we are making serious waves in our industry. We are a values and cultures-based business and we take much of that from our sporting background.

“One of the other areas that we aim to differentiate ourselves in our market is through our commitment to climate change, with the support of our ambassador, polar, desert and vast water explorer; Rosie Stancer. With this in mind, I could not think of a more appropriate and exciting global brand partnership than working alongside Extreme E, with their magnificent team and everything they stand for.”

Earlier this year, Extreme E started its push for global visibility. The electric racing series announced a media rights deal with Warner Bros. Discovery and extended its deal with Chile’s Canal 13 broadcaster.

At the heart of both recent deals was the series’ mission of raising awareness of climate change across the globe, which Jackson Swiss Partners plans to contribute to.

Bryan Redpath, Head of Partnerships at Jackson Swiss Partners, stated: “We at Jackson Swiss Partners are delighted to become the official global supplier to Extreme E. The connection on raising awareness of climate change across the globe is something we fully support and cannot wait to be part of this exciting journey.

“One of the most exciting parts to the partnership is seeing the male and female drivers compete with and against each other in a team environment to become the overall winners. We cannot wait to be part of this amazing series for the long-term growth of Extreme E.”
