AS Monaco has named Linebet, an international sports betting site, as its betting partner for the Sub-Saharan Africa and MENA (Middle East and North Africa) region.

Under the agreement, LineBet will sponsor the Ligue 1 club for the 2024/25 season, with both parties aiming to bring communities closer together and pursue development in France and MENA.

Additionally, the gambling company will also reserve a dedicated betting offer for Monegasque supporters present in the region.

Linebet is an international online betting company that offers a wide range of sports and casino games and operates under a license from Curaçao.

A statement on the club’s website reads: “By becoming the official sports betting partner of AS Monaco in Sub-Saharan Africa and MENA for the 2024-2025 season, Linebet confirms its strategy of expansion and collaboration with top-tier partners, with the aim of ensuring it continues to lead in brand awareness and marketing.”

This deal comes as the French top-flight club celebrates its 100th year.

Thibaut Chatelard, Marketing and Revenue Director at AS Monaco, commented: “We are delighted to be partnering with Linebet, one of the fastest-growing companies in its sector, in Sub-Saharan Africa and MENA. Through this regional partnership, we aim to support each other in the development of our brands in these two regions, and to grow our respective communities. We look forward to carrying out our first activations.”

AS Monaco has partnered with several companies in the gambling sector over the years in efforts to grow in different global markets. In 2023, the club agreed a deal with sports entertainment platform 6686 Sport to bolster its presence in Asia.
