Bologna FC 1909 has signed a multi-year deal with Cazoo, which will see the online second-hand car dealership become the main partner and new jersey sponsor of the team.
Beginning next season, Cazoo will be the Serie A club’s front of shirt sponsor and will be able to be seen on the matchday shirts of the men’s and women’s first team as well as the Primavera and all youth sides.
Alongside this, the firm will gain stadium visibility and a presence on the club’s website and all of its official social media profiles, in what marks its sponsorship debut in Italian football
Christoph Winterling, Commercial and Marketing Director of Bologna FC 1909, said: “We are extremely happy to jump into this partnership and are honoured to be the first club in Italy with which Cazoo has decided to collaborate.
“Playing a huge part in their strategy to enter the European market is a proud moment for the club, and this demonstrates the trust and esteem that a brand as significant as Cazoo has towards our club.
“Together we will develop different activities for our fanbase and the people of Bologna as we strive to make this a unique partnership.”
Furthermore, the partnership is also said to be part of a larger Cazoo launch campaign in Italy which is coming in summer 2022.
