The DP World Tour has named OlyBet as its official betting operator in Europe, with the exception of the UK and Ireland.

The two-year partnership sees the operator bring ‘more unique golf moments’ to sports fans via access to the men’s professional golf tour.

Max Hamilton, Consumer and Commercial Director of the DP World Tour, said: “We’re delighted to welcome OlyBet to our partnership community.

“As a market leader in the gaming industry across the region, they have aspirations to expand their reach through partnerships with major sports leagues and teams. At the DP World Tour, we look forward to developing with OlyBet a strong platform to further our fan engagement across Europe.”

Olybet – a subsidiary of Olympic Entertainment Group AS – bolsters its golfing presence via the deal, with the competition carrying a minimum of 39 tournaments across 26 countries this season.

“We are excited and privileged to announce a new European partnership between OlyBet and the DP World Tour,” added Corey Plummer, Chairman and CEO of Olympic Entertainment Group and OlyBet Holdings.

“OlyBet will bring to sports fans more of the excitement and thrill of the moments that are so unique to golf and the world-class players filling DP World Tour tournaments.

“Sports fans can follow the world of professional golf online through OlyBet and OlyBet TV and in person through any one of our 150 casinos or any one of our 90 sports bars where they can eat, play, and watch golf.”

Last week, OlyBet also joined the roster of key partners that will sponsor EuroLeague Basketball’s ‘Final Four’ tournament – the marquee finale of the European basketball season.

Taking place from 19 – 21 May, the tournament will be played in Kaunas for the first time which underlines the operator’s commitment to supporting sports in the Baltic markets of Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.
