Cereal brand Kellogg’s has become the Official Breakfast Cereals partner of Manchester City Football Club

The agreement – which covers both City’s men and women’s first team squads –  will work towards making Manchester’s communities better as part of both entities’ shared local histories.

Chris Silcock, Managing Director at Kellanova UK, said: “It’s been a great privilege for our Kellogg’s brand to have been part of Manchester life for over 85 years, so it’s only right to partner with another iconic Manchester institution.

“This collaboration with Manchester City Football Club will further our Better Days commitment, supporting communities in the city in which we’ve been making our Kellogg’s cereals for many decades.”

Kellogg’s will be given additional brand visibility by being prominently featured across the Etihad Stadium and Joie Stadium, being included in various matchday activations and in-stadia advertising opportunities.

The cereal brand, which has a manufacturing plant in neighbouring Salford, will also receive additional coverage by being featured across City’s social media channels.

Kaitlyn Beale, VP of City Football Group’s Global Partnership Sales, added: “To partner with a renowned brand like Kellogg’s is a great accolade for the club.

“Like Manchester City, Kellogg’s are an organisation intertwined with Manchester’s culture and history and we’re excited to work together to positively impact the communities that we share.”
