Betano, a sports betting brand operated by Greek igaming company Kaizen Gaming, has partnered with CONMEBOL, the South American football confederation.

The partnership will run until 2028, kickstarting this year with Betano sponsoring the CONMEBOL Copa America 2024, set to take place in the US, as well as other CONMEBOL tournaments.

This will include the Pre-Olympic tournament, Copa America Women, Copa America Futsal Men and Women, Copa America Beach Soccer, U20 Men and Women, U20 Futsal Men and Women, as well as the CONMEBOL U20 Beach Soccer.

“We are thrilled to welcome Kaizen Gaming and its brand Betano as an official partner of CONMEBOL,” remarked CONMEBOL President, Alejandro Dominguez.

“Their commitment to football and gaming innovation align seamlessly with our vision for the future of the sport in Latin America. Together, we are planning to deliver extraordinary experiences to football fans across the continent.”

Based in Athens, Betano has been building up its international presence across various markets such as Latin America, while also working on an extensive sports marketing strategy.

Partnering with CONMEBOL is the latest in a series of high-profile event agreements the company has clinched of late. In 2022, Betano became the first official partner of the FIFA World Cup, whilst this year it is also the sponsor of the UEFA Euros, taking place in Germany.

Kaizen Gaming Founder and CEO, George Daskalakis, added: “We are delighted to join forces with CONMEBOL, the most respected institution in Latin American football.

“This partnership does not only show our passion for the sport and the region but also highlights our dedication to delivering innovation and excellence within the industry.

“We are eager to elevate the fan experience to new heights, providing unforgettable moments through responsible gaming.”
