TGL presented by SoFi, a golf league backed by Tiger Woods and Rory McIlroy‘s TMRW Sports, has named FanDuel as its official sports betting partner.
As TGL’s US sports betting partner, FanDuel will offer wagering options for all matches, with live odds integrated into TGL’s broadcast. The partnership also includes customised social and digital media content, as well as future integrations on the league’s website and mobile app.
Additionally, the sportsbook will sponsor the intermission segment between the Triples and Singles sessions. The “FanDuel Intermission” will feature a recap of the first nine holes of Triples and preview the final six holes of Singles, concluding the match.
Karol Corcoran, SVP and General Manager of FanDuel Sportsbook, said: “As its inaugural season gets underway, we look forward to partnering with TGL to create a robust offering of bet types for fans to wager on throughout the season.
“As an official sports betting partner of TGL in the US, we’ll create an engaging experience that brings fans closer to this exciting new golf experience.”
TGL is hosted at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and is set to blend golf with advanced technology and innovation.
The league promises a fresh format that merges traditional golf with modern tech to enhance fan engagement. Six teams of professional golfers will compete in a primetime, televised setting, with an emphasis on fan interaction.
Jason Langwell, Chief Revenue Officer, TMRW Sports, commented: “FanDuel is one of the most – recognisable names in not only sports gambling but in all of sports. Adding them to our growing roster of partners underscores our commitment to excellence as we continue to build out our commercial programme for TGL presented by SoFi.”
While this deal is limited to the US, the golf league has made a series of deals to ensure exposure across Europe.
In December, Sky Sports secured a two-year broadcasting agreement with TGL, covering the 2025 and 2026 seasons. The partnership will provide Sky Sports customers in the UK, Ireland, Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Italy exclusive coverage of all matches, including the semi-finals and best-of-three finals.
