Lega Serie A has renewed its partnership with KINTO Italia, which will be the official mobility provider for the third consecutive year.
Now covering the current 2022/23 season, the Toyota group-brand will be supporting events from the EA Sports Supercup to the Frecciarossa Italian Cup Final, to the award ceremony of the winning team of the Serie A Championship TIM.
The pair have asserted that the aim is to ‘promote and disseminate innovative and sustainable mobility’, also for the benefit of important national sporting events.
Luigi De Siervo, CEO of Serie A, said: “Also this year Lega Serie A and KINTO are renewing a partnership based on the shared values of sustainability, accessibility and attention to the environment.
“A collaboration that takes on even more value in a historical moment in which energy issues are increasingly topical and alternative solutions aimed at saving and respecting the planet are needed.
“Together with KINTO we will offer innovative services that allow fans to reach Serie A events in an ecological and sustainable way.”
Furthermore, during the Frecciarossa Italian Cup Final in Rome, the brand will launch initiatives aimed at supporting fans travelling to the stadium by encouraging the use of its sustainable mobility services.
The group has highlighted the ‘important benefits’ of this in terms of reduction of emissions, containment of vehicular traffic and for mobility in the city.
“We are very pleased with the renewal of the partnership with Lega Serie A and we are proud to support such a prestigious partner again this season on the path towards more sustainable and innovative mobility,” added Mauro Caruccio, CEO of Toyota Financial Services Italy and CEO and Chairman of KINTO Italia.
“Our ambition is to offer a simple, reliable, sustainable mobility experience, allowing everyone to move around safely and without barriers. We are convinced that offering our vision of mobility to the many enthusiasts who follow Lega Serie A sporting events every year can contribute to the creation of a better society.”
