The Darts Regulation Authority (DRA) has temporarily banned Andy Jenkins and Prakash Jiwa from participating in any DRA-hosted events, as well as Jack Main in a separate case.

The decision was taken by DRA Chairman Nigel Mawer due to allegations against Jenkins and Jiwa that they’ve been betting on matches from the Modus Super Series

In a separate case, the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA) has flagged suspicious betting activity during a match between Main and Lisa Ashton that took place on 9 June 2023 during the Modus Super Series Event.

The DRA commented: “After an investigation, Mawer has decided that Jack Main has a case to answer for breaches of the DRA Betting Rules.

“As a result of this decision, Main has been suspended from attending or competing in DRA-sanctioned events until the conclusion of the hearing or hearings and the determination of this matter. Main has the right to appeal this suspension decision.”

No evidence has been brought forward so far that four-time BDO World Darts Women’s Champion Lisa Ashton has been involved in any way.

The case will be looked at by the DRA Disciplinary Committee, with a formal hearing taking place on a yet-to-be-confirmed date.

Depending on the outcome, Jiwa could miss the World Darts Championship taking place in December.
