British heavyweight Daniel Dubois has appointed agency NVA Sports and Entertainment Group (NVA SEG) to manage his commercial profile.

Dubois has chosen NVA SEG ahead of his heavyweight clash against Filip Hrgovic in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia this weekend. The 26-year-old joins the likes of Liverpool FC player Luis Diaz and the fastest man on the planet Usain Bolt by selecting to be represented by the agency.

NVA SEG is a multi-faceted management, PR consultancy and sports agency, led by Chris Nathaniel. Based in London, the agency represents stars across the globe, including former Manchester United player Rio Ferdinand and heavyweight boxer Deontay Wilder.

Nathaniel said: “I strongly believe Daniel is exactly what boxing, and in particular the ageing heavyweight division, needs right now. He’s followed the right path and is ready to make massive moves in the sport.

“We share similar family and community values, so I am proud to welcome him to the NVA SEG family. I look forward to working with Daniel to bring his vision to life and ensure his impact is felt in the boxing world and beyond.”

Dubois turned professional at the age of 19 and quickly established himself as an exciting name in the sport. The boxer became the WBA heavyweight champion in 2022, with victory over Trevor Bryan in Miami.

Since then, the Londoner suffered a setback in early 2023 against the now unified heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, but fought back with a victory over the previously undefeated Jarrell Miller to put himself back in world championship contention.

Now, Dubois is set to fight on the highly anticipated five v five card, which features Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom against Frank Warren’s Queensbury in Saudi Arabia. This event follows on from the aforementioned unified clash between Tyson Fury and Usyk, which led to record payouts from bet365

Dubois commented: “I have spoken with Chris and the team at NVA SEG for some time and I knew straight away they were the right people to help me take this next step. I have huge ambitions for the coming years and to achieve all of that I need the best people supporting me in every area. I believe Chris and the team are exactly that, so I am excited to get started and see what we can achieve together.”
