Irish former goalkeeper Shay Given is continuing in his role as a CopyBet ambassador throughout the 2024/25 season.

Given shares his experiences and insight on football with the operator’s customers, therefore driving awareness of the betting brand. The 48-year-old was CopyBet’s first ever brand ambassador.

Given commented: “I’m delighted to extend my ambassadorial role with CopyBet and I look forward to kicking off with the upcoming European Championships in Germany.

“It’s been a stellar season of football, and next season looks set to be just as exciting with changes on the pitch and in the dugouts.”

The partnership was originally agreed in August 2023, with this new deal extending throughout the 2024/25 football season.

The partnership – brokered by WH Sports and Bear Faced Talent – has so far seen the player appear in a series of content throughout the 2023/24 season.

Anton Ivanov, CopyBet UK Business Development Director, added: “We’ve enjoyed having a Premier League legend as our brand ambassador, using his knowledge to connect with football fans.”

The operator is headquartered in London and offers both a sportsbook and a non-analogue automated copy betting system.

“The football calendar doesn’t stop, and Shay will be providing customers with his predictions for the European Championships and then throughout the 2024/25 season,”  Ivanov concluded.
