DAZN Group and the ATP Tour have signed a multi-year, multi-country agreement to distribute Tennis TV, the latter’s direct-to-consumer video service.

The duo will distribute Tennis TV across Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean, featuring matches such as the Nitto ATP Finals, ATP Masters 1000, ATP 500, and ATP 250 tournaments.

To localise for the aforementioned markets, DAZN has added local language services to Tennis TV for the first time. Coverage will be provided in Portuguese and Latin American Spanish on all key live and select on-demand content to better engage with tennis fans in the region.

Shay Segev, CEO of DAZN Group, said: “The launch of Tennis TV on DAZN offers fans across Latin America, Brazil and the Caribbean the choice, accessibility, and flexibility they want with new and exclusive ways to follow the action from the ATP Tour.

“DAZN is committed to building a platform that delivers on growth potential by fully engaging international fans. The addition of Tennis TV to the platform represents a significant addition to our tech-led DAZN Channels business.

“The ATP Tour is one of the most iconic properties in world sport, so to be able to use DAZN’s technology, distribution and marketing capabilities to broaden the reach of this premium product and deliver thrilling tennis to existing tennis fans and reach new ones, is a fantastic opportunity for DAZN and ATP Media.”

The addition of Tennis TV to DAZN’s roster marks the latest expansion of the group’s offering this year, as well as a further broadening of its international broadcasting presence. The company states that it intends to complement its long-standing portfolio of WTA live and VOD content on its platform.

Outside of tennis, DAZN announced earlier this year the addition of 10 new channels to its roster. This covers a range of sports, with the channels being Matchroom Boxing, Matchroom TV, DC Darts, Motorvision TV, Lacrosse TV, Padel TIME TV, SportStak, Moto America TV, Billiard TV, and ACL Cornhole TV.

Stuart Taylor, Director of Consumer Streaming at ATP Media, added: “We are extremely excited to partner with DAZN to distribute this localised version of Tennis TV to tennis fans in this region.

“ATP Media prides itself on streaming innovation and partnering with DAZN is a perfect fit for the service and will help further elevate the ATP Tour in these markets. From Rio to Santiago and Cordoba to Buenos Aires, fans now have another way to stream all ATP Tour tournaments live and on demand and relive classic matches.”
