ZO Skin Health has strengthened its partnership with West Ham United Women’s team, becoming the club’s official back of shirt sponsor for the new season. 

The deal acts as an affirmation of the flourishing relationship between ZO and the FA Cup finalists West Ham, ahead of the most important Women’s Super League (WSL) season in the competition’s history. 

Dean Akinjobi, the CEO of Football Media, the agency that connected the brand with West Ham United and is responsible for its activation activity, explained to InsiderSport: “ZO will have a number of additional rights including the branding on the back of the shirt supported by further in-stadium branding. 

“A unique element of this partnership is that ZO Skin Health will be providing the women’s team with a dedicated skin consultation, it means that West Ham United will be the first team to have this in this in the women’s game.”  

Emphasising how the shared the synergies between brand and club have allowed the partnership to prosper, he continued: “The relationship between ZO Skin Health and West Ham has flourished so much because collectively from day one, Football Media were highly selective about choosing the right club for ZO Skin Health as a brand to partner and grow with in women’s football, we believed that West Ham United Women’s team were the right club and are very happy with the decision. 

“Everyone involved with the club from Jack (Sullivan) and the staff through to the players, have been very supportive of the partnership and are committed and focused on working with us to make it a long term success.  

“In the first season of the partnership, West Ham Women’s team performed incredibly by getting to the FA Cup final and it was great for ZO Skin Health to be associated with the team. On top of this, there is a unique family atmosphere within West Ham that makes working with the club very easy and we are pleased that ZO Skin Health as a brand are not only treated as a partner, they are treated as part of the West Ham family, which is reflected in the way we work together across all areas of the partnership and the results it continues to deliver.”    

Working on a variety of bespoke activations, ZO seeks to gain exposure to from being associated with the club to showcase a wide range of content that raises awareness to the wider public on the importance of Skin Health.

The Irons look to build on a successful season, when they head to BorehamWood FC on the seventh of September to take on reigning WSL champions, Arsenal.
