The Philadelphia 76ers has announced a new multi-year partnership with Betway, making the online sports betting company an official partner of the team.

Betway branding is to be displayed throughout The Wells Fargo Center during the NBA’s side’s televised regular-season home games, including visibility on team bench aprons, courtside LEDs, basket stanchion LEDS and TV-visible signage alongside the scorers’ table.

“We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Betway,” commented Owen Morin, Philadelphia 76ers Senior Vice President of Corporate Partnerships.

“As a leader in sports betting across leagues and teams, Betway is best-in-class and provides their customers with premiere betting offerings and together we will bring elite experiences to 76ers fans.”

Furthermore, the new partnership also includes a social media sweepstakes for fans to enter for the chance to win 76ers home game tickets, which is currently open for entry.

Anthony Werkman, CEO of Betway, expressed his excitement for the top-flight team partnership, adding: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with the Philadelphia 76ers. As the Betway brand is licensed in Pennsylvania, this is not just a branding opportunity but a chance for us to engage with fans who will also be able to access our product.

“With an extensive list of marketing assets associated with the deal, we are sure this will be a very successful partnership.”

The team has previously secured other partnerships with betting platforms, and last year revealed BetMGM as an official betting partner, shortly after the mobile sportsbook and casino app’s debut in Pennsylvania.

This partnership also saw BetMGM feature across all of the team’s digital and social media platforms including the official 76ers app.

More recently, NBA’s Dallas Mavericks also linked with Betway in October 2021 in a ‘free to play’ partnership which gave branding rights to Betway as the betting platform’s logo is shown around the court at the American Airlines Center.
