BLAST Premier has renewed its partnership with Betway until the end of the 2023 season to continue to collaborate with the gambling firm on a range of activations.
The CSGO esports series’ latest deal extension means that Betway’s branding will appear across all seven BLAST Premier events taking place in 2022, whilst the enterprise will also own the ‘Power Picks Prediction’ segment during tournament broadcasts.
Oliver Clarke, Head of Brand Partnerships at BLAST, commented: “We’re thrilled that Betway have committed to another two years with BLAST Premier, taking our partnership into a fifth year. It highlights the symbiotic relationship we’ve built over this time, with Betway playing an integral role in the BLAST Premier experience.”
The announcement marks BLAST Premier’s fifth partnership renewal in 2022 having extended deals with Shikenso Analytics, GRID Esports, audio peripherals brand EPOS and cryptocurrency company Coinbase.
Adam Savinson of Betway group commented: “Over the past three years, we have worked incredibly hard with the team at BLAST to create an innovative and synonymous partnership which leads the market within the esports sector.
“It brings me great joy to announce our renewal, and I look forward to taking our already successful partnership to even greater heights.”
The enterprise had previously expanded on this partnership in 2020 when it had already been in existence for two years. During this, Betway maintained a ‘strong and visible’ presence across BLAST Premier’s 2021 Counter-Strike tournament.
In a further expansion into the esports market, in January the bookmaker also extended its collaboration with North American organisation BeastCoast which, similarly, will work on a range of activations throughout the year.
This one-year deal originally saw Betway secure branding rights and access to the organisation’s Dota 2 roster to host activations, which included a tournament that gave fans the opportunity to play against the team.
