D.C. United has revealed an extension to its multi-year partnership with Heineken, which includes the beverage company being named the club’s official and exclusive beer sponsor.

The company will maintain the naming rights to the Heineken Rooftop, located at the north-end of Audi Field

Heineken will also have naming entitlement to Heineken Hall – a food, beverage, and entertainment area located on the east side easement of the main course at Audi Field.

Danita Johnson, President of Business Operations for D.C. United, stated: “Our partnership with Heineken sets a standard for how two parties can come together and align on a shared mission – in this case, enhancing fan experience and taking it to new heights.

“The partnership has been fan-focused since day one and we’re proud to continue to evolve and expand our collective impact on delivering the best sport outing experience in the region with Heineken for years to come.”

Furthermore, Heineken will continue in its presenting partner role for all D.C. United away match watch parties, hosted by a variety of local establishments around the capital throughout the season.

“We are excited to extend Heineken USA’s partnership with D.C. United, one of our longest running MLS partners,” added TJ Keighley, Brand Director for Heineken.

“D.C. United have some of the most passionate supporters and we look forward to continuing pairing the Heineken brand energy with their excitement to create engaging experiences at Audi Field and across the D.C. metro area.”
