Sports data supplier IMG ARENA has teamed up with cricket data and analytics provider CricViz to secure the exclusive data and streaming rights for Cricket West Indies

The deal entails that IMG ARENA will be in charge of official data coming from more than 450 matches across the West Indies Men’s and Women’s national teams, West Indies Under 19, West Indies Academy, as well as domestic leagues such as the Men and Women’s CG United Super50 Cup and West Indies Championship.

Additionally, the data will be distributed to more than 460 regulated global sportsbook operators.

CricViz will leverage its March Centre solution to extract advanced data analysis, such as graphic visualisations and live action insights, together with predictive models.

Dominic Warne, Director, Commercial, Marketing & Communications at Cricket West Indies, said: “This partnership has enabled us to increase the number of games that we can make accessible to fans, featuring more detailed live scoring and live match statistics in the Windiescricket.com Live Match Centre.

“We’re excited to be able to present more home international and West Indies regional matches than ever before so fans can follow their teams and favourite players.”

IMG ARENA is headquartered in London and supplies its parent firm IMG with sports data and technology for the betting, media and performance sectors.

The inclusion of the West Indies will add to the diversification of the firm’s portfolio of more than 65,000 sporting events each year, which span across football, tennis, golf, basketball, MMA, amongst others.

Freddie Longe, President at IMG ARENA, added: “Cricket fans are among the most passionate in the world, making Cricket West Indies a fantastic addition to our growing content portfolio.

“We’re pleased to partner with CricViz and leverage their established position in the sport to drive further fan engagement and deliver first-class content to our partners.”
