FairPlay Sports Media (FPSM) is building up its presence in the US via a bolstering of the American sports offering on its platform.

The company has launched a new AI-powered platform and odds service for its global media partners, the NFL Odds and AI Projections Season Pass.

The platform makes real-time future projections using pre-match data 14 days out from the gameday of an NFL fixture, also featuring in-play odds across every NFL and NCAA match.

FPSM’s latest product has been developed by Quarter4, the sports technology and data platform it acquired in January this year. The launch also steps up the company’s use of data and AI-backed technology to inform its product development.

Stuart Simms, Group CEO at FairPlay Sports Media, said: “This American Football service is a potent combination of Quarter4’s acclaimed AI projections and the FairPlay group’s media and affiliate expertise.

“Together, this service removes hurdles and empowers partners to drive user engagement and, in turn, monetize their content to generate new, more sustainable revenue streams.

“With this launch, we’re turning on the power of both the fan and the machine to level the playing field for bettors looking for an edge, as well as media partners aiming to cut through with quality content in a more effective manner, no matter their location or size.”

Utilising data and technology has become a key area of FPSM’s strategy since its rebrand from Oddschecker Group in January this year. The company is placing a heavy emphasis on ‘BetTech’, as Simms put it in an interview with Insider Sport following the relaunch.

The addition of the new NFL Season Pass to its product portfolio falls in line with this objective. Simms emphasised to Insider Sport that the firm aims to combine data, technology and products across its brand portfolio, consisting of the Oddschecker, WhoScored and SuperScommesse assets, as well as the Confido network.
