Tottenham Hotspur has signed a new two-year partnership with ExpressVPN to help bolster its digital security across all of its networks.

As the official digital privacy partner of the Premier League club, ExpressVPN will also benefit from new branding exposure, leveraging Spurs’ standing as one of the most recognised clubs in the league.

The data privacy firm will benefit from Spurs’ global reach to help drive brand awareness in its key markets, with a primary focus on Western Europe. This will include branded content run through the club’s social media channels as well as in-stadium LED branding

Ryan Norys, Chief Revenue Officer of Tottenham Hotspur, said: “We are excited to be partnering with ExpressVPN with the aim of enhancing the overall digital experience for our staff and supporters.

“This partnership will align our two brands through a commitment to excellence and support the growth of ExpressVPN across its key markets.”

ExpressVPN has coverage and servers in 105 countries and is one of the leading virtual pirate networks. It integrates security features for interested parties and a user-friendly interface in a bid to give partners ease of mind when it comes to security controls.

The company is also offering Spurs fans an offer on its premium VPN solution as part of its partnership with the club.

For those fans who sign up for the 24-month ExpressVPN subscription, they will receive an additional six months for free during its launch in November. The security solution brings benefits such as secure public wi-fi access and help find deals for matchday travel.

Ankit Khemka, Chief Marketing Officer at ExpressVPN, said: “Tottenham Hotspur is a true innovator in the sporting industry and has one of the most technologically advanced stadiums in the world.

“At ExpressVPN, we pride ourselves on being innovators in digital privacy and security. This partnership signifies a key milestone in our mission to build a safer, freer internet for all – home and away.”
