2.Bundesliga club Hannover96 has announced that German gaming platform StarGames.de will partner with the team for the 2023-24 season.

As sponsor and ‘team presenter’, StarGames will see its logo featured on the training and warm-up kits of the first team, as well as on various advertising displays in the Heinz von Heiden Arena.

This partnership with the second-tier club represents “one of the most significant milestones in the brand history” of StarGames. The German online gaming provider, known for its Novoline slot titles, will support Hannover 96 for the duration of the 2023/24 season.

“It is a great honour to collaborate with a football club of such standing and with such established tradition. Commitment, passion and fair play are values that are important not only to Hannover 96, but also to us as fundamental cornerstones for our company and brand,” said StarGames Brand Manager László Pados

“Most of all, we are looking forward to supporting this team and its fans and helping them achieve success in what is a very competitive league.”

Hannover96 registered the third highest average attendance in 2.Bundesliga last season with over 30,000 fans, and are in the pursuit of gaining promotion to the Bundesliga after a 10th place finish.

In addition to sponsoring the training and warm-up kits, advertising displays and the Hannover 96 website, StarGames will also take part in promotional activities such as ticket prize draws.

StarGames Marketing Manager Andreas Jansch added: “This partnership provides us with an exciting opportunity to reach the many 96 fans and demonstrate our enthusiasm for outstanding achievement, both on and off the pitch. We cannot wait to really get going!”
