Manchester United has extended its partnership with DHL, the club’s official logistics partner, until 2027.

At the heart of the deal is the ‘United for One Goal’ campaign, an initiative which aims to use the power of sport and business to create a more socially responsible, sustainable world. This is achieved through recognising supporters and local heroes, who make a difference in their communities.

These people will often volunteer for meaningful causes or inspire others through grassroots initiatives. Nominations will be entered into the ‘United for One Goal’ recognition programme, which includes rewards such as signed club merchandise, tickets for home matches and an opportunity to play on the pitch at Old Trafford.

Omar Berrada, CEO of Manchester United, stated: “We are delighted to continue our longstanding relationship with DHL. We share many years of positive impactful work, and this will continue globally through ‘United for One Goal’.

“The longevity of the partnership is down to our shared values and our ambitions to use our global influence to drive positive change in local communities.”

The two organisations first partnered in 2011, highlighting the need for positive change among the global communities that the two serve. At the beginning of the deal, the ‘A World United’ campaign was created, an earlier version of the aforementioned ‘United for One Goal’ programme.

John Pearson, CEO of DHL Express, commented: “The shared values of our partnership with Manchester United continue to go from strength to strength – engaging, connecting and inspiring a fan base which is truly global.

“We are so pleased to be continuing the longstanding partnership with Manchester United; in this next phase we will look to combine the global power of both brands to connect people and improve lives whilst delivering a better world.”

Earlier this week, the Premier League club updated its stadium regeneration plan, partnering with Trafford Council and the Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) for the club’s most recent step towards creating a ‘Wembley of the North’.
