Digital sports content and data provider Genius Sports has named Kimberly Williams-Bradley on its Board of Directors.
Williams-Bradley, whose addition increases the company’s boardroom to nine members, will act as an Independent Director as well as becoming part of the Board’s Audit and Compensation Committee.
The appointment comes after Williams-Bradley’s vast experience managing finances in both the sports and media industries. She has been involved with the National Football League (NFL), and the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA).
Chair of the Board, David Levy, noted: “On behalf of the Board, we are delighted to welcome Kim. She is a highly regarded professional with a wealth of experience in the finance and sports media sectors, whose accomplished perspective will strengthen and diversify the Board’s decision-making capabilities.
“We are pleased to have Kim join our team to help drive our strategic vision as an integral member of our Board and Audit Committee.”
Williams-Bradley was most recently Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Warner Bros. Entertainment Group, where she was responsible for managing and strategising the finances of the corporation.
She commented: “I am thrilled to be joining Genius’ Board at such a pivotal moment for the industry, as the sports, betting and media sectors increasingly converge.
“Genius Sports continues to shape the direction of the industry and the use of official data, revolutionising how sports leagues capture new revenue streams while delivering greater value and security for sports books and their customers.”
