Worcestershire County Cricket Club (WCCC) has entered into a partnership with Dafabet to gain a “boost” from the latter’s streaming platform.

As part of the club’s digital expansion, Dafabet will serve as the headline sponsor for its live streaming service, which has generated nearly 14 million views worldwide in the past two years.

John Cruces, Head of Sponsorship at Dafabet, commented: “We’re very happy to be partnering up with Worcestershire as we continue to add to our list of partners within the sport.

“Particularly, their livestream platform can only help us both add to our footprint worldwide. As with all our partners, we wish them the best of luck for the forthcoming season.”

This agreement marks Dafabet’s expanded dedication to global sports sponsorship, building on existing partnerships with clubs in the Premier League, Scottish Premiership    and top-tier cricket leagues.

In 2022, AFC Bournemouth agreed a two-year deal with Dafabet and the operator went on to further bolster its portfolio of English cricket teams by securing two new sponsorship agreements with the Durham and Sussex county teams.

Joe Tromans, Head of Commercial and Partnerships at Worcestershire Cricket, added: “We are hugely excited to be announcing our partnership with Dafabet and are delighted to welcome them as a new partner to the Worcestershire family.

“We have been very impressed with Dafabet’s commitment to safer gambling and their ambitions to be the world’s most innovative gaming platform, so to have them, as a leading global brand, on board as our official live stream partner, is a major boost to our objectives both on and off the pitch.”
