Spanish football giants Real Madrid have secured a new partnership with electronics company Hisense in a three-year sponsorship agreement.

The partnership sees Hisense join Real Madrid as a regional partner in Spain, Africa and the Middle East. Included in the deal is a limited edition 100-inch TV which is set to offer “unprecedented” picture quality and immersive sound which intends to elevate the fan experience watching the club at home.

The event to sign the agreement took place in the boardroom of Real Madrid City and was attended by Real Madrid’s Director of Institutional Relations, Emilio Butragueño, and Vice President of Hisense International, Jerry Liu.

Simirarily, Hisense hosted its own launch announcement in Johannesburg, with Luna Nortje, South Africa General Manager of Hisense, speaking on the significance of the deal.

Success off the pitch has never been better for Los Blancos too. The club posted record revenues of €1bn for the first time ever and continues to build its impressive sponsorship portfolio with the likes of Adidas, Fly Emirates, HP and now, Hisense.

For the Chinese electronics company, sponsoring one of if not the biggest football clubs in the world will gain the company a significant platform to market its products.
