The NASCAR Xfinity Series Dash 4 Cash Race has partnered with BetRivers, a sports betting brand owned by Rush Street Interactive (RSI).

Scheduled for 27 April 2024 at the Dover Motor Speedway, the race will be branded as the ‘BetRivers200’. The partnership will roll out mobile sports betting within the speedway, marking the first time in Delaware where fans can place mobile bets whilst at the event.

RSI will play a role in on-site activation at the speedway’s fan zone as a result of the partnership, hosting VIP players events. The duo aim to combine the ‘excitement of motorsports’ with the ‘innovation and dynamism’ of gaming, according to an RSI statement.

Dover Motor Speedway President & General Manager, Mike Tatoian, said: “With the recent launch of RSI’s award-winning online sportsbook in Delaware, we are delighted to welcome BetRivers as our title sponsor for the upcoming race.

“BetRivers commitment to excellence and passion for delivering exceptional experiences align perfectly with our values. Together, we look forward to creating memorable moments for fans and the drivers at the BetRivers 200 for years to come.”

The agreement marks a continuation of Rush Street and BetRivers extensive engagement with US sports. Like many other operators, RSI has pursued visibility via sports channels as a way to boost its brand awareness during the rapid growth of sports betting in the US since 2018.

Notable Rush Street partners in recent years include Chicago Bears of the NFL whilst the BetRivers brand has inked deals with the likes of the NHL’s Pittsburgh Penguins and the NBA’s New Orleans Pelicans.

“We are thrilled to join forces with Dover Motor Speedway as the title sponsor for this prestigious NASCAR event,” added Richard Schwartz, CEO of RSI.

“We have worked in collaboration with the Delaware Lottery to bring this partnership to life. As BetRivers is dedicated to providing top-notch entertainment and experiences, this partnership is a natural fit and we are excited to see this important hometown event grow even bigger as we continue to invest in the community for years to come.

“The BetRivers 200 will showcase the pinnacle of racing excellence and provide fans with an unmatched spectacle.”
NASCAR also has a history of working with betting operators, capitalising heavily on the boom in sponsorship revenue experienced since PASPA was repealed six years ago. The motorsports series has counted Tipico and Fubo Sportsbook among its partners.
